The Canadiens win there 5th Schmalz Cup and first since 1995 with a thrilling 3-2 overtime win over the Clarington Eagles on Sunday afternoon in Guelph.  Captain Dylan Weston with the highlight reel Schmalz Cup winning goal 51 seconds into the first overtime.  Romano Liburdi made some key saves for the championship clinching victory in net.  Also scoring was Trevor LaRue and Jake Nimmo on a penalty shot.

On Saturday the Canadiens defeated the Grimsby Peach Kings by a score of 5-0 in the semi finals to advance to the Finals.
