Beginning September 22, visitors and patrons entering the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, as well as the Libro and Comber Community Centres, will be required to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination as required under Province of Ontario regulations.
Vaccination certificates can be accessed using Ontario’s online portal and will be checked prior to individuals entering the facility. The certificates and photo identification will be required for the following individuals:
- Visitors and spectators who are 18 years of age and older.
- Spectators between the ages of 12 and 18 years old.
- Parents and guardians of youth actively participating in an organized sport.
Vaccine certificates will not be required for youth (under the age of 18) who are participating in programs, rentals or organized sports leagues. Individuals with specific medical exemptions will be required to show proof as per guidelines from the Ontario Ministry of Health.
As with public facilities under Step 3 of Ontario’s re-opening framework, all visitors to the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre and Municipality of Lakeshore offices will be required to wear a mask and undergo a COVID-19 process.
