Nicolas Rosati wins the Doug Kennedy memorial Rookie of the year in the PJHL

Nicolas Rosati is the winner of the first ever PJHL rookie of the year award. Rosati finished the regular season with 42 GP, 25G, 47A, 72 PTS In the playoffs he tallied 14GP, 8G, 12A, 20PTS

He was also the rookie year in the Stobbs division. Nicolas Is an 11th round draft pick of the Windsor Spitfires. This award is named after Doug Kennedy who passed away in August at the age of 70 years old. He was a former Kincardine Bulldog General Manager and long time PJHL official. He was a good friend to the Canadiens and many around the PJHL.

Canadiens GM Mark Seguin commented, “ The sky is the limit for this young man. A fierce competitor who can play in all situations. If you hang around long enough you meet special people and Nicolas is one of those both on and off the ice.”
