Canadiens return to action with back to back shutouts

The Canadiens returned to action after a long lay off on snowy Thursday night in Petrolia.  Leading the way was captain Dylan Weston with 1 goal and 3 assists, also scoring on the night was Jake Nimmo with 2, Bryce Scarlett, Eric LaRue and Christian Oomen.  Trevor Heslop earned the shutout in net with 18 saves as the Canadiens held a 60-18 shot advantage.

The Habs returned to home ice Friday night to take on the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks.  Sebastian Tronchin led the scoring with 2 goals, also scoring Marco Sladoje, Eric Bisson. Trevor LaRue, Christian Oomen and Kyle Walker.  Romano Liburdi made 10 saves for the shutout.  Next up Tuesday night as the Canadiens travel to Essex and take on the 73’s.  Game time 7 pm.
